Vita prides itself on being the world expert in shade determination. They are so good at it, every dental product manufacturer uses the Vita classical shade system. Now there is the Vita 3D Master shade system which has just improved the way we take shades.

Here at TLC when we take a custom shade we use a three-phase system, we use an electronic shade taking device (Vita Easyshade), we take a manual shade 3D Master to verify the electronic shade diagnosis, we use Vita specialty shade tabs for specific colours and we finally take digital photos.
